Comment Policy

To begin with, as an introduction, let's first establish something as the "Primary Directive".
These comments are NOT facebook, twitter, reddit, or any other "please be my friend" socail network.

Always keep in mind that all the comments must be about or somehow in relation to anime. The most important thing relating to that "primary directive," is NO SPOILERS, which means you can only, and I will repeat, CAN ONLY, talk about what has been shown in the series up to and including the episode upon which you are commenting.

If all you have to say is I like/liked the Manga/LN/VN/Game, without even mentioning the anime, that is spam. If you say something was skipped, anime only watchers have no way of knowing that, thus that's a spoiler for any future readers/player of the source material. If all you have to say is "read/play the source material," that's not about the anime, that's just spam.

Now, as for more specific things, which really need not be said if you follow the primary directive and have at least a modicum of netiquette, but regardless:

-All comments must be in English or at least reasonable Engrish
-NO comments in all or mostly CAPS
-NO Flooding (DO NOT reply to yourself or post comments in chains or repeatedly. If you are not replying to someone, you are only allowed one comment per page. If you want to add somthing or say something else, USE THE EDIT BUTTON)
-NO comments wRiTtEn LIkE ThiS
-NO comments consisting of just LOL or meh (protip; if your comment has less than like 5-6 words its probably NOT a comment)
-NO Spam
-NO Advertising
-NO Flaming
-NO Trolling
-NO Drug Abuse glorification
-NO Graphically explicit sexual comments
-NO Graphically explicit violence comments
-NO Assault comments, i.e. physically threatening someone
-NO Stalking or pick up comments (this isn't a singles bar)
-NO Racism comments (e.g. [insert ethnicity] SUX)
-NO Anti-Nationality comments (e.g. [insert country name] SUX)
-NO Anti-Theological comments (e.g. [insert religion name here] SUX)
-NO Politics and/or Religion, unless specifically related to series content
-Opinions ARE NOT FACTS, so don't state them as such and heaven help you if you try to contradict fact with opinion
-Finally, don't be a dumbass, because you will be found and dealt with.

Keep in mind that if a mod tells you something, it's not just a suggestion.
Rule violations can vary from a warning to a ban from 1 day to permanently depending on severity and repeat offenses.
Mod decisions are not topics of discussion or debate.
